Why FCC?

At FCC, we’re proud to be 100% invested in Canadian agriculture and food. As a federal Crown corporation, we provide financing, knowledge resources and business management software to over 103,000 customers nationwide.

Here’s what you can expect when you join our team:

Salary: $55,160 - $68,460

Summer Placement Duration: May to August 2027

How you’ll make an impact

Looking for an opportunity to experience the practice of law in a collaborative, business-focused environment?

Work alongside experienced in-house counsel on a wide range of legal matters that support Canadian agriculture and food businesses. You'll gain exposure to areas such as commercial lending, contracts, corporate and governance matters, employment law, litigation, procurement, intellectual property and privacy.

As part of a collaborative legal team, you'll work alongside lawyers and business professionals on legal matters and strategic initiatives that support FCC's operations and priorities. You'll develop practical legal skills while gaining valuable insight into the role an in-house legal team plays in supporting business decisions, managing risk and advancing organizational goals.

Whether your interests are in corporate law, commercial transactions, employment law, litigation or governance, you'll have the opportunity to contribute to meaningful work and broaden your understanding of legal practice in an in-house setting.

If you're curious, motivated and eager to learn, we'd love to hear from you.
