The Role:

We’re looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager to join AP+ on a 12-month maximum-term contract, leading a significant systems implementation project. 

Sitting at the intersection of business, technology and data, you’ll lead multiple interconnected workstreams and bring together stakeholders from across AP+ to shape and deliver a solution that meets both commercial and technology requirements. 

You’ll be comfortable leading in-flight projects towards delivery, while also working on other key initiatives around discovery and business case design. 

You’ll then provide end-to-end project leadership, managing plans, budgets, resources, risks and stakeholders to deliver against agreed outcomes.  

What You’ll Do: 

• Lead the delivery of significant commercial systems implementations. 

• Manage multiple concurrent workstreams across business, technology and data.  

• Work with business stakeholders to understand commercial requirements and translate these into clearly defined project outcomes.  

• Partner closely with technology and data teams to shape practical, scalable solutions.  

• Develop and maintain integrated project plans, timelines, budgets, resource requirements and dependencies.  

• Establish strong project governance, reporting and decision-making processes.  

• Identify and proactively manage risks, issues and cross-workstream dependencies.  

• Manage project budgets and forecasts, maintaining clear oversight of project financials.  

• Facilitate senior stakeholder discussions and drive timely decisions where competing priorities or trade-offs arise.  

• Track project outcomes and benefits to ensure the solution delivers the intended business value.  

• Maintain high-quality project documentation and provide clear reporting on progress, risks and key decisions.  

The broader role requires strong ownership of complex projects, including management of resources, budgets, timelines, risk and stakeholder expectations.  

What We’re Looking For: 

You’ll be a commercially minded Senior Project Manager who can comfortably move between business and technology conversations and bring structure to complex, data-driven initiatives. 

Ideally, you’ll bring: 

• 5+ years’ experience as a Senior Project Manager delivering complex business and technology projects.  

• Demonstrated experience delivering a commercial technology system implementation.  

• Strong understanding of data-driven technology solutions and the role data plays in system design, integration and business outcomes.  

• Experience working across a mix of business and technology-facing project work.  

• Proven ability to lead multiple workstreams simultaneously, managing dependencies and maintaining alignment across teams.  

• Strong experience at the discovery and business case stages of the project lifecycle — able to take an opportunity from an initial concept through to a clearly defined, executable initiative.  

• Strong project planning, governance, budgeting, risk management and reporting capability.  

• Excellent stakeholder management skills, including the ability to influence and facilitate decisions across senior business and technology stakeholders.  

• Experience within payments, financial services or another complex technology environment would be highly regarded.
