Join a Legendary Team Driving Heavy Machinery Excellence

Step into a powerhouse of innovation and legacy as you join our Engine Bay team at our Burnie branch. Working a 7/7 roster (Thursday to Wednesday), this is your chance to enjoy true work-life balance – seven days on, seven days off, every cycle. More time for adventure, family, projects, rest… whatever “your seven” looks like.

We're looking for a highly motivated Diesel Technician to join our crew full-time – someone who enjoys getting hands-on with Caterpillar engines and engine rebuilds.

Working in our Engine Bay, you'll be responsible for the servicing, repair, overhaul and rebuild of CAT engines. From diagnosing faults and stripping down components to rebuilding and testing engines, you'll play a key role in keeping Caterpillar equipment performing at its best.

At William Adams, we’re not just fixing machines, we’re powering industries. With a century of partnership with Caterpillar, we’ve built a reputation for excellence across construction, mining, marine, and industrial sectors.

This isn’t just a job – it’s your chance to specialise in some of the best diesel engines in the world. One team. One vision. The best gear. The biggest challenges. Are you ready to roll?
