The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Medical Secretary to join our team, supporting specialist cardiology clinics across Hollywood, Joondalup and Mount.

This is a busy and varied role where you’ll work closely with our cardiologists, patients and referring doctors to ensure our clinics run smoothly and our patients receive a positive experience from start to finish.

Regular travel between our clinics will be required.

What You'll Do

• Coordinate specialist appointments, bookings and clinic schedules
• Provide high-quality administrative support to cardiologists
• Deliver friendly and professional service to patients and referrers
• Manage correspondence, enquiries and patient follow-up
• Process billing, Medicare, DVA and private health claims
• Prepare quotes, invoices and receipts
• Maintain accurate patient records using HealthTrack
• Liaise with GPs, hospitals and other healthcare providers

About You

You’ll be an experienced Medical Secretary who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in providing great service.

You’ll bring:

• At least 2 years’ experience as a Medical Secretary
• Experience supporting specialist medical clinics
• Strong organisational and communication skills
• Excellent attention to detail and a patient-focused approach
• Sound knowledge of medical terminology – cardiology experience is highly regarded
• Experience with practice management software (HealthTrack desirable)
• A current Australian Driver’s Licence and willingness to travel between clinics
