Our hospital provides care for small animals, pocket pets, and occasionally urgent care cases, giving our technicians the opportunity to work with a wide variety of interesting medical and surgical cases every day. What You’ll Do 

As an RVT at Nepean Animal Hospital, you will: 

• Assist veterinarians with examinations, diagnostics, and treatments 
• Monitor anesthesia and support surgical procedures 
• Perform laboratory testing and diagnostic imaging 
• Administer medications and vaccinations 
• Provide exceptional nursing care to hospitalized patients 
• Educate clients on preventative care, nutrition, and treatment plans 
• Maintain accurate medical records 
• Help create a clean, organized, and efficient hospital environment 
• Work closely with a supportive team that genuinely enjoys working together 

What We’re Looking For 

Our ideal candidate is: 

• A Registered Veterinary Technician (or eligible to become registered) 
• In good standing with the provincial regulatory association 
• Enthusiastic, compassionate, and team-oriented 
• Comfortable in a fast-paced environment 
• Adaptable and eager to learn new skills 
• Passionate about delivering excellent patient and client care 
• Motivated to continue growing professionally
