The Role

We're building a talent pool of Guest Service Agents for LyLo Auckland, so if you love people and thrive in a fast-paced, social environment, we want to hear from you. You'll be the friendly face guests see first and remember most, checking guests in with a smile, sorting requests before they even have to ask twice, and making sure every stay at LyLo feels effortless and a little bit fun.

We have both part-time and full-time hours available, and you'll need weekend and evening availability along with current work rights in New Zealand. We're open to working holiday visas, so if you're looking for a role to make the most of your time here, get in touch.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly on arrival and departure, anticipating their needs before they have to ask, and check them in and out efficiently and accurately
• Process daily guest transactions and accounts with care and accuracy, and manage reservations correctly and on time
• Work closely with Housekeeping, Reservations and Maintenance to make sure rooms are guest-ready
• Pass on guest requests to the right department and follow up to get them sorted, actioning messages promptly and flagging any feedback or complaints to management
• Know your stuff: local area, hotel services, current rates and packages, and keep things safe, clean and compliant with LyLo's policies and WH&S guidelines
• Get involved in training sessions and team meetings, look after our equipment, complete opening/closing duties, and lend a hand to the wider team wherever needed. We're all in this together

What You'll Bring

• A genuine love of people and a knack for making guests feel welcome
• Previous experience in guest service, hospitality or front office is a bonus, but a great attitude matters more
• Sharp attention to detail and the ability to juggle a few things at once
• Great communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Weekend and evening availability, with current work rights in New Zealand (working holiday visas welcome)
• A fun, friendly, down-to-earth approach to work and life
