The Role

We offer

• Comprehensive group benefit plan,
• This is a regular full-time position based on 40 hours of work per week, (Monday-Friday) with extended hours during busy season (February to April)
  
  

You will

As a Tax Manager at CBM Chartered Accountants LLP, you will play a key role in delivering innovative tax strategies and exceptional client service. You’ll leverage your advanced understanding of Canadian tax legislation with the requirement of completing of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course in order to guide complex engagements, ensure compliance, and contribute to the continued growth of our firm.

Qualifications

The Candidate Must-Have Skills and Core Competencies

• Completed CPA Designation
• Minimum of 3-5 years of Public Accounting experience, focusing heavily on tax
• Completion of the CICA In-Depth Tax Course

Preferable Skills and Core Competencies

• Tax research
• Memo writing
• Preparation of tax correspondence with legal counsel
• Preparation/review of income tax election
• Advanced knowledge of Canadian tax legislation and reporting standards
• Demonstrated experience in managing complex tax provisions and ensuring compliance
• Proficient in software such as TaxPrep and CCH iFirm.
• Capable of handling administrative responsibilities and supporting additional prospective tasks as needed.

Interview Process
