Six pediatric endocrinology fellows participate in both clinical and academic activities. Emory’s Department of Pediatrics in ranked 1st in the country for NIH funding. Laboratory space is available in the Department and access to an extensive array of Core Laboratory services is available. And a staff group of clinical research support members supporting investigator-initiated and industry-sponsored trials.

Our group offers comprehensive tertiary care to children with diabetes and endocrine diseases. We conduct over 26,000 inpatient and outpatient visits per year at 9 sites. We offer specialized clinics for children with Turner Syndrome, metabolic bone disease, transgender identity, hyperlipidemia, brain tumor, thyroid cancer, cancer survivorship, cystic fibrosis-related diabetes, and post-transplant diabetes. The Center for Advanced Pediatrics (CAP) is a 260,000 sq. ft., 8-story tower that houses the endocrine and diabetes clinics and a Pediatric Research Center.
