Introduction

Jim Pattison Volvo Cars Surrey is seeking an experienced Car Sales Consultant with a passion for automotive sales and a commitment to delivering an outstanding customer experience.

In this role, you will guide customers through every stage of the vehicle purchasing process, from identifying their needs and recommending the right Volvo model to conducting vehicle demonstrations and test drives, explaining features and technology, and ensuring a memorable ownership experience.

You will represent the Volvo brand and the Jim Pattison Auto Group with professionalism while building lasting relationships with your clients. The ideal candidate is customer-focused, confident, well organized, results-driven, and dedicated to sales excellence.

A day in the Life

As a Car Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for guiding customers through the entire vehicle purchase journey, while delivering a premium customer experience aligned with the Volvo Cars brand.

• Welcome and assist customers in a professional and engaging manner, both in store and through phone and online inquiries.
• Build rapport with customers to understand their needs and recommend suitable vehicle options.
• Conduct vehicle presentations and test drives.
• Present pricing, financing options, and assist in structuring deals in collaboration with management.
• Maintain accurate and consistent follow up using CRM tools to manage leads and customer relationships.
• Coordinate vehicle deliveries and ensure a seamless handover experience.
• Continuously develop product knowledge and stay up to date on OEM features, technology, and market trends.
• Contribute to team success by maintaining a positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Success in this role comes from consistent effort, strong follow up habits, and the ability to build trust with customers.

What We're Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Eligible to obtain a VSA license.
• Must be available all days of the week, including evenings and weekends. Shifts will average 40 hours per week.
• Strong work ethic with a high level of energy and motivation to succeed.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Customer focused mindset with the ability to build rapport and trust.
• Highly organized with the ability to multi task and follow up consistently.
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn in a fast paced sales environment.
• Previous sales or customer service experience is a strong asset, but not required.
