For Season 2027, we are looking for an experienced Head Chef to join our Culinary team. We are looking for a hands-on culinary leader who combines strong operational expertise with creativity, consistency and a genuine passion for developing people and delivering memorable dining experiences.

The Role

As Head Chef, you will take an active role in leading and coordinating daily kitchen operations, ensuring that every service reflects the culinary standards and guest experience of Mar-Bella Collection.

You will oversee food preparation and service, support menu development and execution, lead and develop the kitchen team and ensure consistency across quality, presentation, hygiene and food safety. At the same time, you will contribute to effective cost control, stock management and the smooth organization of the department.

This is a role for a chef who can combine culinary expertise, operational discipline and people leadership in a demanding luxury hospitality environment.

A Day in the Job

• You plan, coordinate and supervise daily kitchen operations, ensuring smooth and efficient service.
• You lead and support the kitchen team, creating clear responsibilities, strong communication and a positive working environment.
• You ensure that all dishes meet the required standards for quality, taste, presentation and consistency.
• You contribute to the development and implementation of menus in line with each outlet’s concept and the culinary identity of the hotel.
• You organize mise en place, production and service preparation, ensuring that each kitchen section is fully ready for operation.
• You monitor food quality, portioning and presentation throughout service and take immediate action whenever standards need to be reinforced.
• You ensure full compliance with HACCP, food safety, hygiene and sanitation standards.
• You monitor food cost, stock levels, ordering and product usage, helping reduce waste and improve operational efficiency.
• You organize schedules and daily team allocation according to operational needs and business levels.
• You train, coach and develop members of the Culinary team, encouraging professional growth and high performance.
• You work closely with the senior Culinary team and other hotel departments to ensure seamless operations and an excellent guest experience.
• You actively listen to guest feedback and use it as an opportunity to continuously improve the culinary experience.

Requirements

Is This You?

Essential qualifications:

• Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in a similar culinary leadership role.
• Previous experience in 5-star hotels, high-end restaurants, luxury resorts or other demanding hospitality environments.
• Strong experience in managing high-volume kitchen operations and teams.
• Proven ability to supervise, motivate, train and develop culinary professionals.
• Strong knowledge of kitchen operations, food preparation techniques and service standards.
• Excellent understanding of HACCP, food hygiene and food safety procedures.
• Good knowledge of food cost control, inventory and stock management.
• Strong organizational and planning skills, with the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Leadership mindset, accountability and a hands-on approach.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to remain composed, solution-focused and effective during demanding service periods.
• Good knowledge of English.

Additional qualifications – a plus:

• Previous experience in luxury resort operations.
• Experience with multiple restaurant concepts or high-volume outlets.
• Experience in both buffet and à la carte operations.
• Culinary degree or relevant professional qualification.
• Familiarity with hospitality, kitchen-management and Microsoft Office systems.
• Experience in menu development, recipe standardization and food-cost optimization
