As a Legal Assistant, you will play a vital role within our legal team, providing essential support across litigation and legal services. From drafting documents and filing court submissions to liaising with clients and supporting solicitors, your work will keep the department running smoothly and efficiently. YOUR DAILY RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist with drafting and reviewing legal documents, correspondence, and court submissions
• File and manage court documents in accordance with procedural requirements
• Liaise with clients to gather information, provide updates, and maintain strong professional relationships
• Support a team of solicitors with day-to-day legal and administrative tasks
• Maintain accurate and organised records of legal matters and case files
• Handle confidential information with discretion and in compliance with legal standards
• Coordinate administrative functions within the legal department to ensure smooth operations
• Track deadlines, hearings, and key dates to support timely case progression

A BIT ABOUT YOU

• Minimum 2 years of proven experience as a Legal Assistant or in a similar legal support role
• Strong understanding of legal terminology, court processes, and document requirements
• Excellent attention to detail and a high standard of accuracy in all work
• Well-developed organisational and time management skills with the ability to handle a large workload
• Proactive mindset with a practical, solutions-focused approach to challenges
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office suite
• Experience with LexisNexis Affinity or similar legal practice management software is an advantage
• Strong written and verbal communication skills with a professional and confident manner
