Since 1933, Haven Toronto has been a drop-in centre where elderly homeless, marginally housed and socially isolated men can feel safe, where they can form and cultivate friendships, and become part of a community. Our vision is a safe and just community in which elder homeless men can live a quality and dignified life.

Summary: The RPN will work as part of the overnight program at Haven Toronto, a program of St. Michael’s Homes, delivered in collaboration with St. Michael’s Hospital, Michael Garron Hospital, and the East Toronto Health Partners OHT. Clients who visit emergency departments but do not need urgent medical care are redirected to Haven Toronto for safe overnight rest, basic support, and monitoring. The RPN provides onsite clinical assessment, basic nursing care, and oversight to ensure client safety and continuity of care throughout the night.
