About The Role

As a Kitchen Hand, you’ll play an important role in supporting our kitchen team to deliver high-quality food and a great guest experience. You’ll assist with food preparation, maintain a clean and hygienic kitchen, wash dishes and equipment, receive deliveries, and ensure all food safety and workplace health and safety standards are followed.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Support the Chefs with day-to-day kitchen operations
• Assist with basic food preparation and ingredient handling
• Maintain a clean, organised and hygienic kitchen environment
• Wash dishes, cookware, utensils and kitchen equipment
• Receive, store and manage stock deliveries
• Dispose of waste and help keep the kitchen and surrounding areas presentable
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace health and safety requirements
• Assist with other duties as required

About You

This role requires someone who can think on their feet, work at a fast pace and handle multiple tasks at once without compromising cleanliness or safety.

• Have previous kitchen hand experience in a busy environment.
• Work quickly and efficiently under pressure.
• Be physically fit and capable of lifting and carrying heavy items safely.
• Be able to manage and clean multiple functions simultaneously.
• Keep the kitchen, dishes, equipment and work areas clean and organised.
• Be able to multitask and prioritise jobs in a fast-paced environment.
• Be reliable, punctual and work well as part of a team.
