Summary of the Role

• Sales & Business Development: Drive sales growth and achieve business objectives by developing assigned territories, key accounts, and new business opportunities.
• Distributor Sales Execution: Drive and influence appointed distributor sales teams to effectively execute agreed commercial strategies, priorities, and account plans.
• Key Account & Customer Development: Build strong relationships with healthcare professionals and key stakeholders to develop strategic accounts and expand product adoption.
• Product & Clinical Support: Provide product and clinical support while strengthening distributor capabilities through field coaching, training, and customer engagement.
• New Product & Market Development: Support new product launches and market-development initiatives by identifying opportunities, developing early adopters, and accelerating market penetration.
• Sales Forecasting & Inventory Coordination: Provide accurate sales forecasts and collaborate with distributors and internal stakeholders to ensure appropriate inventory levels and continuity of supply.
• Market & Competitive Intelligence: Monitor market trends, customer needs, competitor activities, and pricing developments to generate actionable commercial insights.
• Sales Planning & Reporting: Maintain sales pipelines, monitor performance against objectives, and provide timely business updates, forecasts, and corrective action plans.
• Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate with internal functions to align sales execution, marketing initiatives, supply planning, and overall business priorities.
• Compliance & Business Conduct: Ensure all sales, distributor, and customer engagement activities comply with company policies, applicable regulations, and healthcare industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Sales Strategy Development

• Work with distributors to develop a comprehensive understanding of the clients’ profile and needs.
• Creating and implementing effective sales strategies to achieve business goals and targets.

2. Client Relationship Management

• Frequent visit and service to clients.
• Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs, and providing tailored solutions to meet those needs.
• Negotiate terms and conditions with clients, handling objections and closing sales deal to achieve revenue target.
• Foster long-term, profitable customer loyalty.

3. People and Culture Building

• Collaboration with other internal and external stakeholders to ensure result
• Be accountable and have sense of ownership  
• Applies others’ diverse experiences, styles, backgrounds, and perspectives to get results
• Can take a creative idea and actively moves them onto implementation
• Shows consistency between words and actions

4. Business Partner for Organisation Development Programs

• Manage sales and support activities and distributors activities
• Ensure good relationship with business partner and manage expectations at company’s interest

5. Performance Management

• Conduct sales & marketing data analysis.
• Use analytics tools to track sales performance, generate reports and provide insights and recommendations for improving sales strategies.

Functional / Technical Skills

• An individual contributor with responsibility in a professional discipline or specialty.
• Require working closely with stake holders, including distributors to provide excellent service to clients. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to understand their needs and provide tailored solutions.
• Create and implement effective sales strategies to achieve business goals.
• Negotiate terms and conditions to close deals and achieve revenue target.
• Develop in-depth understanding of the company's products or services to effectively communicate their benefits with clients.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to expand the client base.
• Conduct compelling sales presentations and product demonstrations to clients.
• Support marketing activities (local & regional) initiated by marketing team.

Education & Experience

• Requires a Baccalaureate degree and minimum of 7 years of relevant experience in healthcare industry, or advanced degree with a minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Requires adequate knowledge of job area especially in Cardiovascular or Vascular, typically obtained through advanced education combined with experience (minimum 5 years).
