Job Description:

Audit Associate, Audit, Commercial service line, Cardiff

Start your audit career with a firm that backs your studies

Every day our teams help people in businesses and communities do what is right and achieve their goals. Our tailored, responsive approach gives clients the expertise they need to grow and make the right decisions about their future.

You’re part way through your professional qualification and ready to learn from people who do this brilliantly. Now’s the time to build your technical skills, get real client exposure and grow with a firm that supports you at every stage.

Why Cardiff?
Cardiff gives you a proper career in audit and professional services, with a lifestyle to match. It’s the capital of Wales and a hub for financial and professional services, so you’ll work with a varied mix of ambitious businesses. It’s compact and easy to get around, with Cardiff Bay, great food and music, and the coast and Brecon Beacons on your doorstep. Add strong rail links to Bristol and London, and you get the best of both worlds.

We’re happy to talk flexible working, including reduced hours, and we’ll support you to balance work and life.

A look into the role
As an Audit Associate in our Commercial service line, you will:

Knowing you’re right for us
The minimum you’ll need is to be studying for a professional qualification (ACA, ICAS, ACCA or CIPFA). It would be great if you had some of the following, but don’t worry if you don’t tick every box, we’ll help you develop along the way:

Knowing we’re right for you
Our culture thrives on the contributions of all our people. We never settle for what is easy, we look beyond to deliver the right thing, for everyone. We value difference and respect our colleagues, which helps people perform at their best and realise their potential.

You’ll interact with leaders who are interested in you and everything you bring. The things that set you apart, we value them, and you’re free to bring your whole self to work.

Beyond the job
Life is more than work. We’re happy to look at flexible working options for all our roles and we’ll always do our best to keep work and life in balance.

Your impact here goes beyond your day job. From secondments to fundraising for local charities, you’ll be giving back to society. That drive to do the right thing runs through everything we do, grounded in our values: purposefully driven, actively curious, and candid but kind.

We’re looking for people who want to contribute, spark fresh ideas and go beyond expectations.
