Banquet Captain / Supervisor - Restaurant Benjamin

The Supervisor reports to the Restaurant Manager and assists in overseeing the restaurant’s daily operations. They supervise team members and play a key role in delivering an exceptional guest experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Ensure proper service planning based on anticipated guest volume;
• Inspect the dining room to ensure all setups and preparations meet standards;
• Supervise and support staff members;
• Maintain ongoing communication with the kitchen to ensure smooth and efficient service;
• Ensure guest satisfaction during and after service;
• Handle guest complaints when necessary;
• Participate in inventory management;
• Act as the person in charge of the establishment in the absence of the Restaurant Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2 to 3 years of experience in a similar role;
• Restaurant management training (an asset);
• Strong customer service skills;
• Leadership and excellent communication skills;
• Self-motivated with a strong sense of initiative;
• Flexible availability;
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite applications.
