Host(ess) - Bevo

The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for guests, whether in person or over the phone. They provide a warm welcome, manage reservations, and support the dining room team to ensure guests enjoy an exceptional dining experience.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage dining room reservations;
• Ensure menus are in perfect condition;
• Welcome guests upon arrival, assign them a table according to the established floor plan, escort them to their table, and adjust place settings as needed;
• Assist the dining room team during service when necessary;
• Thank guests upon departure, inquire about their satisfaction, and invite them to return;
• Ensure the cleanliness of the work area, washrooms, and dining room;
• Answer telephone calls according to established procedures;
• Perform any other related duties required to ensure the smooth operation of dining room service.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in a similar position;
• Strong customer service skills;
• Ability to work independently;
• Resourcefulness and problem-solving skills;
• Strong organizational skills;
• Excellent communication skills in both English and French, spoken and written.
