Risk & Compliance Associate

The Job

We are looking for an Associate to join our Risk & Compliance team.

The role provides operational support across the Risk Management, Compliance, Life Insurance and International Business functions, helping to ensure regulatory obligations are met, administrative processes are completed accurately, and monitoring activities are performed effectively.

The successful candidate will support a range of risk, compliance, governance and reporting activities while gaining exposure to the insurance and financial services sector.

Key Responsibilities

• Support the delivery of risk and compliance activities across the Group.
• Conduct customer due diligence (CDD) and Know Your Customer (KYC) reviews and maintain related records.
• Support the administration and compliance monitoring of the Company's life insurance business, including the maintenance of client records and follow-up on outstanding documentation.
• Assist with compliance monitoring activities and regulatory reporting requirements.
• Coordinate Fit and Proper assessments and maintain associated documentation.
• Support the review and administration of policies, procedures, agreements and governance records.
• Maintain risk registers and assist with risk assessment and reporting processes.
• Monitor and follow up on outstanding compliance and risk-related actions.
• Assist with the administration of international business and regulatory obligations across relevant jurisdictions.
• Prepare management information, reports and documentation for internal and external stakeholders.
• Build effective working relationships with colleagues, regulators, service providers and other stakeholders.

Job Requirements

• A Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management, Insurance, Business, Finance, Law, or a related field.
• Good understanding of regulatory and compliance requirements within the insurance sector.
• Strong organisational and administrative skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, work accurately and meet deadlines.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
