Jem is hiring a Product Marketing Manager so that the right people understand our products and keep choosing them.

Jem is the workforce management platform built for deskless teams, delivered on WhatsApp.

Jem has two kinds of customers. Employers buy Jem to run payroll and HR for their teams, and their frontline workers use our products day to day, including Jem Mobile's data and devices. You'll sit between Product and Marketing, turning what we build into clear positioning and well-run launches that help both audiences get value from Jem.

- Make every Jem product easy to understand and easy to keep using, both for the employers who buy Jem and for the frontline workers who use it
- Close the gap between what our products do and how our teams and customers talk about them

✅ What Success Looks Like

- Every priority product has clear messaging for each audience and an agreed marketing plan with an owner
- Launches are planned ahead with product squads and land consistently across the relevant channels
- The product newsletter goes out reliably and readers act on it
- Sales and Customer Success have accurate materials and know how to use them
- Conversion and product adoption improve, and you can show with numbers which messages and launches moved them

📃 What You'll Do

- Customer insights: Speak to customers and review sales feedback to understand buying motivations, hesitations and alternatives to Jem.
- Positioning and messaging: Develop and maintain product positioning and messaging tailored to different audiences, using language that resonates with customers.
- Product launches: Manage the launch calendar with Product squads and Marketing, owning priority launches from planning through execution and post-launch reviews.
- Product marketing content: Own the product newsletter, emails, social content, webinars and launch events, including follow-up communications.
- Sales and Customer Success enablement: Provide teams with the materials and briefings they need to support launches and communicate product value.
- Customer adoption: Partner with Product and Customer Success to develop communications that help customers successfully adopt and get value from the products they purchase.

- Understand how people make buying decisions, and can move between a considered B2B sale and a quick consumer purchase
- Write clearly enough that an HR manager and a frontline worker both get the point the first time
- Enjoy interviewing customers and notice the words they use
- Get curious about how a product works before you write about it
- Can run a launch with many contributors and still hit the date
- Back your views with data and change course when the numbers tell you to

💡 Requirements

Minimum:

- 3+ years in product marketing, or closely related work, in a B2B technology business
- Proven B2C marketing experience, ideally in a high-volume, price-sensitive market
- A track record of developing messaging and running launches
- Strong, plain writing
- Comfort with conversion and adoption metrics

Nice to have:

- Experience in HR tech, payroll, fintech, telco or employee benefits
- Experience marketing to frontline or deskless workers
- Experience running webinars or customer events
- Scale-up experience
