Flomics is a fast-growing biotech company founded in 2018 in Barcelona, focused on the development of a revolutionary liquid biopsy solution for the early detection of cancer. Our technology is based on the analysis of cell-free RNA in blood, combining state-of-the-art genomics with sophisticated bioinformatics and machine learning techniques, to arrive at new cancer biomarker signatures. We can bring a game-changing revolution to the world of cancer diagnostics, everything from a single blood sample!

We're looking for an organized, proactive and detail-oriented Business Development Associate to support our BD team's daily operations. This role is the backbone of the department: keeping partnerships, pipelines, materials, and market intelligence running smoothly so the BD leadership can focus on high-level strategy and deal-making. You'll also help manage the company's marketing and social media presence. It's a great opportunity to gain broad exposure to how business development works in a fast-growing biotech, with real ownership over processes and projects from day one.

You should have:

• At least 2 years of relevant experience in a business development, sales support, marketing, or operations role, ideally within healthcare, life sciences or pharma.

• Experience with CRM tools such as Hubspot or Salesforce.

• Strong organizational skills and comfort managing multiple ongoing workstreams and deadlines.

• Good research skills, with the ability to synthesize market/industry information into clear, actionable summaries.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with an eye for producing polished commercial and marketing materials.

• Comfort with social media management and basic content creation.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

• Professional working proficiency in English and Spanish.

• Background in Life Sciences or related fields is a plus.

• Experience with grant applications or public tenders is a plus.

Your responsibilities:

• Partnership management support: Help coordinate and track relationships with academic institutions, laboratories, hospitals and industry partners; ensure follow-ups and action items are completed on time.

• CRM ownership: Maintain and update the CRM system with accurate, up-to-date information on leads, prospects, partners and opportunities; generate reports and pipeline overviews for the team.

• Conference & event support: Prepare materials, logistics and briefing documents ahead of conferences, congresses and trade fairs; manage follow-up on contacts and leads generated at these events.

• Market research: Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, potential partners and market opportunities, and summarize findings for the BD team.

• Grants support: Assist with the preparation, coordination and submission of grant applications and public tenders, working with relevant internal teams.

• Commercial materials: Draft and design proposals, pitch decks, one-pagers and other commercial/sales materials in coordination with BD leads.

• Marketing & social media: Manage Flomics' social media channels and support broader marketing efforts, including content creation and coordination with external providers when needed.

• Cross-team coordination: Work closely with the BD, marketing and C-level team to gather information, insights and materials needed to support ongoing business development activities.
