Job Summary
To support the continued growth of both brands, we are looking for a Regional Sales & Business Development Manager Europe.
Based in Heerenveen, the Netherlands, you will drive profitable growth across Europe for the Mefiag and Kemco product portfolios. This is a highly visible role combining business development, strategic account management and technical solution selling.
A key focus of the role is expanding Kemco's presence in Europe by developing new customers, distribution channels and strategic partnerships across multiple industries, while continuing to grow and strengthen Mefiag's established market position.

Frequent travel throughout Europe (approximately 40-60%) is an integral part of the role, requiring a high degree of independence, flexibility and customer engagement across the region.
What will you do?
Business Development
- Develop and execute a European growth strategy for both Mefiag and Kemco.
- Identify and penetrate new markets, industries and applications.
- Actively seek out new customers, distributors, agents and channel partners.
- Generate and qualify leads through market analysis, networking and industry events.
- Build a strong opportunity pipeline and maintain accurate sales forecasts.
- Evaluate market trends, competitive developments and customer requirements.
Sales & Account Management
- Manage and grow an assigned portfolio of existing customers.
- Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts.
- Lead the complete sales process from prospecting to contract closure.
- Negotiate commercial agreements and support contract renewals.
- Achieve annual sales and profitability targets.
- Promote aftermarket opportunities including spare parts, retrofits and service solutions.
Technical & Solution Selling
- Understand customer processes and operational challenges.
- Translate customer needs into technically and commercially viable solutions.
- Provide product presentations and technical demonstrations.
- Collaborate with engineering, applications, operations and product management teams.
- Support customers throughout project execution and implementation.
Market Development
- Lead the introduction and commercialization of Kemco products within Europe.
- Identify priority industries and market segments for expansion.
- Establish strategic partnerships with contractors, system integrators and engineering firms.
- Participate in trade shows, conferences and industry associations.
- Act as the voice of the customer within the organization.
CRM & Reporting
- Maintain accurate customer and opportunity data within CRM systems.
- Prepare sales forecasts, territory plans and business reviews.
- Monitor sales performance against established targets.
- Provide market intelligence and competitive insights.

You are an entrepreneurial and results-driven sales professional who enjoys building new business while developing long-term customer relationships. You combine strategic thinking with a strong commercial mindset and are comfortable navigating complex sales processes. Required
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or a related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in technical sales, business development or account management.
- A proven track record in developing new business opportunities.
- Experience selling capital equipment, engineered solutions or industrial systems.
- Strong commercial, negotiation and relationship-building skills.
- Fluency in English. Dutch and/or German are an advantage.
Preferred
- Experience in filtration, pumping, industrial water treatment, wastewater treatment or chemical processing.
- Experience within an international business environment.
- Experience working with distributors and channel partners.
- Knowledge of process industries, metal finishing, plating, anodizing or industrial water applications.
