Material/Process Inspector I, II or III

TxDOT's San Antonio District is looking for a Construction Materials Lab Testing Inspector to join our Soils and Aggregate Lab Team.  Our lab team is responsible to perform testing of materials utilized in the construction of our state highways (e.g.,flexible base, embankment, concrete aggregates) and ensuring that they meet meet the requirements detailed in TxDOT's Standard Specifications; thus ensuring the quality and longevity of our state's infrastructure.

We are seeking a proactive and effective communicator who can confidently coordinate with multiple entities to coordinate sampling, communicate test results, address concerns, and resolve day-to-day issues. The ideal candidate will be organized, responsive, and capable of managing multiple communications while ensuring timely and accurate follow-up.
