About Us

UMO is a stealth-mode FinTech venture building a unified, AI-powered, yet deeply human money platform across fiat, crypto, and investments — subject to regulatory approvals. We're designing the platform to break down the traditional barriers to money — access, assets, and experience — so people can interact with financial services in simpler, more adaptive ways.

The platform architecture, licensing groundwork, and team are already in motion: 100+ people across 20+ nationalities, headquartered in the UAE with offices in Portugal and Ukraine. This role exists to make delivery match that investment.

About This Role

You'll help us build a platform that works for One — the individual, whether that's a business owner, an artist, or a freelancer, not a segment or a balance. We focus on individuals, not numbers. You'll take ownership of our global product ecosystem from zero to one: first the minimal licensable product, then the agentic financial platform we build on top of it. You'll partner directly with the founders on strategic direction, operate with full autonomy, and build shared understanding across the organization.

You'll Take Ownership Of

• Zero-to-One Product Delivery: Own the end-to-end product lifecycle for regulated financial products, from initial concept to launch, prioritizing value delivery over premature optimization.
• Product & People Leadership: Build and lead the product organization — hire, mentor, and grow product talent, and establish a culture of high performance, data literacy, and low ego. This is core to the role, not an adjunct to it.
• Agentic Banking Architecture: Architect a financial ecosystem built for autonomous agents from the ground up, treating AI as an operating model for the organization rather than a bolt-on feature.
• Scope Discipline: Maintain control over delivery timelines under pressure. Cut scope deliberately rather than sacrifice quality, keeping focus on the minimal licensable product.
• Regulatory & Compliance Architecture: Treat regulatory, compliance, and audit obligations as first-class product inputs, turning friction into intuitive product features.
• Cross-Functional Feasibility: Partner with the CTO to co-own technical feasibility and organizational commitments, separating what the product does from how it's engineered.
• Context & Alignment: Act as the primary bridge for shared understanding across the company — communicating product vision, customer needs, and strategic rationale through multiple channels.
  
  

About You

• Regulated Startup Background: You've built and shipped regulated financial products from zero to one within a fintech, crypto exchange, custodian, or digital banking environment, with proven exposure to compliance frameworks such as VARA, MiCA, EMI, or PI, and to strict licensing processes.
• Comfort with Shifting Landscapes: You thrive in continuous-delivery setups with agile teams, staying resilient and decisive under regulatory, investor, and shifting deadline pressures.
• Agentic Framework Literacy: You have practical understanding of agentic capabilities, architectural pitfalls, and the agentic-deterministic bridge, so deterministic safety holds on the money path.
• Cross-Domain Fluency: You're comfortable across crypto systems, traditional banking, and modern neobank infrastructure, rather than specialized in a single domain.
• Outcome Ownership: You own outcomes end-to-end rather than running a feature factory. You commit to measurable results and core OKRs, and you value autonomy while building a collaborative, non-siloed organization.
• Clarity & Conviction: You reduce ambiguity across teams and argue from data with conviction, but disagree and commit when it's time to align the organization.
• Language Skills: You speak and write English at a professional level, to support clean communication across global offices.
  
  

This Is Not For You If

• You're looking for a mature product to optimize. We're building from zero — there's no existing user base to A/B-test against.
• You're a product manager from a large bank who needs six committees to change a button. We move fast, fail fast on wrong calls, and decide from data.
• You know crypto well but see banking regulation as an outdated formality. For us, regulation is part of the product architecture, not an obstacle.
• You want to run a feature factory and just execute roadmaps. We need someone who will fight for the right scope, even if that means shipping less.
• You need the founders to make every product call. You'll have real autonomy here — and the responsibility that comes with it, including owning your own mistakes.
