What We’re Looking For:

IC is looking for an experienced Engineering Manager with 12+ years of hands-on .NET experience to lead the architecture, development, and delivery of business-critical trading and brokerage platforms, core systems, and internal and external integration systems, including payment service providers (PSPs).

You will manage Tech Leads and engineering teams, owning technical direction, delivery predictability, and system reliability across platforms used by traders and business teams worldwide.

This role requires a strong technical leader with expert-level .NET engineering skills, solid React experience, modern cloud-native architecture knowledge, and disciplined delivery governance. You will be proactive, take initiative, and bring a problem-solving mindset to everything you own. Experience in trading or the Forex/CFD industry is a strong advantage.

What You’ll Do:

• Lead and grow engineering teams and Tech Leads, including hiring, mentoring, and performance management.
• Own architecture, development quality, and delivery of high-availability .NET and React platforms.
• Stay hands-on: write, review, and guide production .NET code, setting the technical bar for the team.
• Lead delivery across trading platforms (web and mobile), CRM and Back Office systems, and internal and external integrations with payment service providers (PSPs) and other third-party systems.
• Design scalable APIs, microservices, and event-driven architectures running on AWS and Kubernetes.
• Drive engineering best practices, including code reviews, automated testing, CI/CD, monitoring, and release readiness.
• Enforce strong Jira and Confluence governance, including backlog hygiene, sprint planning, documentation, and delivery reporting.
• Drive responsible adoption of AI tools across the team to improve delivery speed, code quality, testing, and documentation.
• Partner with Product, QA, Cloud, Security, Dealing, Compliance, and business teams to deliver on priorities.
• Take initiative and act as a problem solver, proactively identifying and resolving blockers, delivery risks, and performance issues.
• Ensure systems are secure, reliable, and compliant, with strong access control, auditability, and incident management.
• Track KPIs for system stability, delivery performance, and engineering productivity.
• Lead modernization of legacy systems and reduce technical debt.

Technical Skills

• Expert-level, hands-on .NET engineering expertise (12+ years), with a proven track record of designing, building, and delivering production-grade backend systems, and continued active involvement in coding, code review, and technical troubleshooting.
• Hands-on experience across our technology stack: .NET, React, TypeScript, SQL, AWS, Kubernetes, Docker, microservices, event-driven architectures, and APIs.
• Strong working experience with React and TypeScript for modern, responsive web front ends.
• Solid grasp of software design principles and architectural patterns (clean architecture, domain-driven design, SOLID), with advanced SQL data modelling and query performance tuning.
• Experience with APIs, streaming and event-driven systems, microservices, Kubernetes, and AWS (including IAM).
• Experience designing high-availability, low-latency systems for real-time workloads, including scalability, resilience, performance tuning, and observability.
• Experience with CI/CD, automated testing, monitoring, logging, and production support.
• Practical knowledge of AI tools for coding, testing, and documentation, with the ability to drive their adoption across engineering teams.

Qualifications / Skills:

• 12+ years of hands-on .NET software engineering experience, including 4+ years in engineering leadership.
• Proven experience managing Tech Leads, senior engineers, or multiple engineering teams.
• Strong Agile delivery experience and advanced Jira and Confluence governance.
• Experience delivering or supporting CRM and Back Office systems used for client management, onboarding, and operations.
• Experience with web and mobile trading platforms.
• Strong understanding of the trader lifecycle and client onboarding process, including KYC, account opening, funding, pricing, order execution, positions, and margin.
• Background in Forex/CFD brokerage or trading technology, ideally including MT4, MT5, cTrader, or proprietary trading platforms and their server and manager APIs.
• Experience in regulated financial environments, with knowledge of payments and compliance workflows, and in leading distributed teams.
• Proactive, self-driven mindset with a proven track record of taking initiative and solving complex problems.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills with technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Working Schedule:

Monday to Friday: 09:00 – 17:00 (Hybrid Model; 3 days from the office, 2 days from home)
