Overview

Are you a people-first leader passionate about empowering teams, driving career growth, and leading impactful solution delivery? We’re looking for a Manager, Solution Consulting (People Manager) to lead and develop a high-performing team of Solution Consultants within our Professional Services practice. In this role, your primary focus will be supporting, coaching, and scaling your team, fostering an environment of continuous learning and operational excellence. You will partner closely with cross-functional leaders to align consulting efforts with business strategy, ensuring your team has the resources, support, and guidance needed to deliver exceptional customer experiences.

Who you are:

• • Proven People Manager: 3-5 years of direct people management experience leading technical, consulting, or professional services teams within an enterprise SaaS environment (10+ years total industry experience).

  • Talent Coach & Developer: Demonstrated track record of mentoring team members, managing career progression, building psychological safety, and fostering high team engagement.

  • SaaS & Consulting Expertise: Deep understanding of enterprise SaaS business models, professional services delivery, and customer implementation lifecycles.

  • Strategic Problem Solver: Strong critical thinking and analytical capabilities, with the ability to navigate complex customer challenges while supporting your team through delivery blockers.

  • Empathetic & Strong Communicator: Exceptional interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills; adept at building trust across direct reports, cross-functional stakeholders, and executive clients.

  • Resource & Capacity Leader: Skilled in workforce planning, utilization tracking, team bandwidth optimization, and project staffing.

  • Innovation & AI Champion: Passionate about establishing an AI-first mindset, leveraging modern tools to streamline workflows, and elevating team efficiency.

  • Technical Aptitude: Familiarity with data structures, integrations, Salesforce.com, and the Seismic platform; Bachelor’s degree required (technical/CS/engineering background preferred).

What you'll be doing:

• Team Leadership & Talent Development

  • Manage, mentor, and advocate for a team of Solution Consultants, Solution Architects, and Engineers, driving high engagement, performance, and retention.

  • Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, goal setting, and career development planning tailored to individual growth paths.

  • Design and execute onboarding, continuous learning, and certification programs to rapidly upscale team members on product capabilities and industry best practices.

  • Foster a collaborative, inclusive, and AI-forward team culture where continuous improvement and innovation are prioritized.

  Resource Management & Operational Excellence

  • Actively manage staffing requests and resource allocation, ensuring the right talent is assigned to the right engagements in a timely manner.

  • Balance project capacity and team workload to maintain target utilization rates, protecting team well-being while achieving revenue and margin goals.

  • Establish and refine standard delivery frameworks, methodologies, and reusable best-practice templates for your practice area.

  Cross-Functional Alignment & Stakeholder Management

  • Serve as the primary bridge between your team and the Product organization, facilitating bi-directional feedback on platform capabilities and market needs.

  • Partner with Sales and Professional Services leadership during customer/prospect engagements to consult on solution approaches and delivery scope.

  • Act as an executive escalation point for customer engagements, guiding direct reports through risk mitigation and complex problem resolution.
