Technician - Video (Cameras & Systems)

Overview

Main purpose of the role:

To test, service and prepare a wide range of technical equipment and accessories to the required standards and deadlines across all Warehouse Departments as scheduled by the relevant Operations Manager.

  Summary of Principle Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Assist with stock control duties shipping / receiving
  • Assist in the specific preparation of equipment orders in a timely
  • Identify common faults while following the preparation process and report to the Team Leader / Operations Manager
  • Update and fulfil equipment orders and ensure damaged or faulty equipment is logged on the order management system in a timely manner and is communicated to the Operations Manager – Video.
  • Inform the Operations Manager – Video of any shortages of equipment / consumables for forthcoming
  • Contnue to prep Camera and System equipment in conjunction with the
  • Check sub-hired equipment upon receipt of and prior to return, ensuring items are complete and in the same condition as received from
  • Prepare and carry out portable appliance testing where
  • Fulfil routine maintenance and repair of
  • Ensure all camera and system stock is regularly serviced/repaired and available for
  • Support in house and freelance crew coming into location to Show Prep equipment ready for
  • Ensure quality standards are maintained at all
  • Work alongside team members and across departments
  • Keep up to date with the latest technology within the camera
  • Ensure the LEAN process is adhered to at all
  • Ensure the warehouse is kept tidy and orderly at all
  • Assist in the undertaking of stock cycle counts with the department when
  • Apply electrical safety at work practices at all
  • Apply safe lifting practices at all
  • Ensure that the Company's policies, procedures and obligations are adhered to in carrying out all

  Work as part of a team in the preparation, cleaning, verification, testing and returning of department specific, and associated equipment to Company standard and procedure.
