Account Manager

Amman, Jordan | Full-time | On-site

Explorance is looking for a motivated Junior Account Manager to help manage, retain, and grow our existing customer relationships.

In this role, you'll develop strong relationships with customers, understand their evolving needs, support renewals, and identify opportunities to expand their use of Explorance's solutions. You'll work closely with experienced colleagues across Sales, Customer Success, Sales Engineering, and other teams to ensure our customers receive value from their partnership with Explorance.

This is a great opportunity for someone with early experience in B2B account management or SaaS sales who is ready to take greater ownership of customer relationships and continue developing their commercial skills.

What you'll do

• Manage customer relationships: Build trusted relationships with customers and key stakeholders, becoming a reliable commercial point of contact for your accounts.
• Retain & renew: Support and manage the renewal process, proactively engaging customers to understand their needs, address concerns, and strengthen long-term relationships.
• Grow existing accounts: Identify upsell and cross-sell opportunities by understanding customer objectives and connecting them with relevant Explorance solutions.
• Understand your customers: Learn about each customer's priorities, challenges, stakeholders, and use of Explorance solutions to identify opportunities to deliver additional value.
• Manage your account portfolio: Maintain account plans, track opportunities, manage follow-ups, and keep customer and commercial information accurate and up to date.
• Present solutions: Lead customer conversations, presentations, and product discussions, with support from Sales Engineering and other internal experts when needed.
• Negotiate & close: Support and progressively take ownership of proposals, renewals, expansions, and commercial negotiations.
• Collaborate internally: Work closely with Customer Success, Sales Engineering, Support, and other teams to ensure a positive and consistent customer experience.
• Represent Explorance: Participate in customer meetings, events, webinars, and industry activities as required.

What we're looking for

We're looking for someone who has already gained some commercial experience and is ready to grow into a stronger account management role.

You'll ideally bring:

• 1–3 years of experience in B2B account management, customer-facing SaaS sales, or a similar commercial role.
• Experience managing existing customer relationships and contributing to renewals, upselling, or cross-selling.
• Strong relationship-building skills and a genuine interest in understanding customer needs.
• A commercial mindset and the ability to recognize opportunities to grow existing accounts.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with confidence presenting to customers.
• Good organization and follow-through, with the ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities.
• A proactive, curious, and results-oriented approach.
• Fluency in Arabic and English.
• Willingness to travel across the region when required.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a SaaS or technology environment.
• Experience with higher education customers.
• Experience with feedback, analytics, or measurement solutions.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and structured account management processes.
• Experience working with customers across different countries or cultures.
• Additional languages.

Our workplace

This is a full-time, on-site position based in our Amman office.

We believe in the value of working together in person and have built an engaged and collaborative office environment. Candidates should therefore be located in Amman or the surrounding area and be comfortable working from the office five days per week.
