Key Responsibilities:
- Balancing the accounts from day shift.
- Managing front desk activity and handling guest check-ins and check-outs.
- Ensuring customer satisfaction by scheduling wake-up-calls and other concierge activities according to guest preferences.
- Handling customer requests and complaints and directing other employees or departments accordingly.
- Creating invoices, bills and checks for the guests;
- Managing and updating all official documentation pertaining to the role.
- Ensuring that all end-of-day activities have been successfully executed by employees in all departments.
- Answering calls and queries related to potential booking.
- Having good customer service skills.
- Being knowledgeable with safety and security procedures.
- Having the ability to perform computer-based tasks such as data entry, accounting, word processing, invoicing and billing.
- Answering inquires pertaining to hotel services, registration of guests, shopping, dining entertainment and travel directions.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Time management and multitasking skills.
Knowledge:
- High school diploma
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in hotel industry
- Knowledge of Health and safety standards within the hotel.
- Minimum of 3 years supervisory skills

- Must be self-motivated and energetic.
- Must have the ability to work independently with little or no assistance.
- Must have excellent problem-solving skills
- Maintain routine records and prepare reports.
- Must be organized and possess good work habits, giving attention to details.
- A proven record of team leadership skills with ability to schedule, coach, train and support team members, ensuring they perform in accordance with established hotel standards.
- Attention to detail and the ability to follow and present instructions thoroughly.
- Effective verbal and written communications skills.
- Must work effectively with and collaborate with all departments.
Personal Attributes:
- Working knowledge of Excel an MS-Word.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethics.
