Flynn is seeking to hire a Roofing Foreman through the union Local No. 96Flynn is North America’s leading Building Envelope Commercial contractor. Job Summary:As a Foreman, you are responsible for your crew’s production, safety, and quality of work, while also planning day‑to‑day operations. You will supervise and direct the field crew to ensure projects are completed in a timely manner. You will work alongside your crew each day to install commercial roofing systems, primarily single‑ply roofing (TPO, PVC, etc.). Candidates for this role must be proficient in commercial roofing applications and possess the leadership skills necessary to succeed in this position.

- Install various flat-roofing systems on commercial buildings: TPO, EPDM and PVC, BUR etc.
- Successfully train and provide support to the crew
- Maintain quality installation of all assigned projects
- Meet production goals within a given deadline
- Problem-solve and resolve issues that may arise during a project
- Conduct safety meetings and workplace assessments/inspections.
- Follow and enforce all safety standards
- 5+ years' commercial roofing experience, w/ experience supervising and leading crews
- Has a valid Driver’s License with a good 7 year driving record (no exceptions)
- Experience with various commercial roofing systems: single ply membranes, TPO, PVC, and/or others.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Able to train and mentor new employees
- Leadership skills- delegating, time management, quality control
- Can complete required paperwork, reports, and is comfortable with technology- iPads/apps
- Ability to learn and follow safety policies and standards
