We are a European AI lab for the quantum era, bridging the gap between the classical and the quantum world. We work at the intersection of quantum computing, AI, optimization and simulation, where the answers do not yet exist and the work genuinely matters.

We were built from day one by founders who have scaled at the absolute top tier: Peter Sarlin, who built Silo AI and sold it to AMD for €600M, and Kuan Yen Tan, who co-founded IQM. Around them is a team of top minds from Apple, Meta, Google, Palantir, Huawei, Nokia, MIT, UC Berkeley, Oxford, Cambridge, Carnegie Mellon, EPFL and more.

We backed that traction with a €25M round at a €325M valuation. It was funded by the foundersbehind Skype, Hugging Face, Nokia, Quantinuum, Supercell and many mor. We are 100 people today and scaling to 153 by December.

What you work on depends on your background. Across the company, our people:

• Work on fundamental, real-world problems together with our scientists, engineers and customers.

• Bring deep expertise in their discipline, whether that is research, engineering, customer deployment, business, or building the company.

• Turn ambitious ideas into executed outcomes, from framing the problem to delivering results our customers rely on.

• Work across disciplines. R&D, Qutwo OS product, business development and customer teams work side by side.

• Help build a fast-growing company: its teams, its ways of working, its standards and its culture.

Who we are looking for

We hire across very different profiles.

• Researcher or scientist in AI/ML, optimization, quantum algorithms, or computational chemistry and materials.

• Engineer who has built and run production ML, platform, infrastructure or security systems.

• Forward-deployed engineer or solutions architect who has taken AI or data systems into production at enterprise customers.

• Deployment strategist, engagement manager or business leader who has led complex enterprise partnerships, built C-suite relationships and grown accounts.

• Operator who has helped a company scale fast, building the teams and processes behind it in talent, people, finance, legal, operations or program management.

• Founder or early employee of a B2B AI or deep-tech startup.

What everyone at Qutwo shares

• Proven depth in your own discipline, shown through publications, shipped systems, delivered engagements, built teams or results others recognize.

• A track record of taking work from idea to outcome.

• Comfort with ambiguity and the pace of a fast-growing company.

• Excellent communication and fluency in English, our working language.

Nice to have, not required

• Quantum computing, optimization, simulation or hybrid AI systems.

• Working with enterprise customers in regulated industries (pharma, finance, energy, public sector).

• Ownership of a P&L, customer portfolio or practice.

• Building a function from scratch in a scale-up.
