Your Role 

You build and run PHENOGY’s sales partner business – turning market opportunities into active partners, profitable orders and collected revenue. Starting in Central Europe, you will expand into the Nordics, selected Middle Eastern markets, and take early responsibility for customers and partners in Africa. 

Your Tasks & Responsibilities 

Multi-channel strategy & market development 

• Prioritize countries, segments and applications by potential, margin and speed of entry; define the right route to market per territory 

• Integrate partner and direct sales through clear account ownership and opportunity allocation 

Partner acquisition & activation 

• Identify, qualify, recruit and onboard distributors, integrators and solution providers 

• Negotiate partner agreements, commercial frameworks and performance targets 

• Run onboarding, training and qualification programmes; drive activation to first order; review performance and act where needed 

Partner & account management 

• Own key partner relationships at commercial and technical level;  

• Support partners in customer acquisition, business cases, proposals and negotiations 

• Develop assigned accounts directly 

• Feed customer and market insights into Product and Engineering 

Forecast, CRM & sales process 

• Own a rolling sales forecast (volumes, revenue, margin, delivery and commissioning dates) as demand input for supply and production planning 

• Enforce CRM discipline and establish repeatable processes from qualification to order handover 

Commercial accountability 

• Own revenue, order intake and margin for your partners and accounts 

• Define pricing, discounts and incentives; manage cost to serve, payment terms and working capital 

Must-haves 

• Track record in international B2B sales leadership, channel or market development in technical sector 

• Proven success in building partner networks and converting them into profitable revenue 

• Strong product-technical understanding, ideally a degree in engineering, energy technology or a comparable field 

• Sound commercial and financial acumen: pricing, margin, payment terms, working capital 

• Experience with sales process design, CRM adoption and rolling forecasting 

• Fluent German and English 

• Willingness to travel extensively, including intercontinental travel 

Nice-to-haves 

• Hands-on experience with BESS, sodium-ion or lithium-ion technology, or power conversion systems 

• Additional languages relevant to target regions a strong plus
