Love building pipelines that engineers actually trust? We’re looking for a hands-on Platform Engineer to take ownership of CI/CD for our Dataworks team, and to do it with AI agentic tooling that’s already built and ready to use.

About Neilson

Neilson Financial Services is a global life insurance distributor operating across the UK, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand. With over 1,000 employees and more than 650,000 policies issued, we help families secure financial protection for their loved ones through locally based contact centres.

Launched in the UK in 2012, Neilson expanded into Canada in 2021 and entered the Australian and New Zealand markets in late 2024. In that time, Neilson ANZ has launched six brands across the funeral and life insurance markets and become the country’s third largest direct distributor of life insurance.

Our values underpin everything we do: Customer Focused — we earn our customers’ loyalty by exceeding their expectations. Results Driven — we are passionate about results through hard work, continuous improvement, and a professional approach. Team Spirited — as individuals we are good, but as a team we are better.

The role

Our core Platform Engineering team is focused on foundational infrastructure and AI skills, which means this role owns the day-to-day pipeline work end to end. You’ll have real autonomy, shared templates to build from, and a clear picture of what success looks like.
