Sr.SEO Specialist

SocialPilot is looking for an experienced Sr SEO Specialist to join our team. You will

build meaningful SaaS products in the Martech space that the customers love. You will

be part of a highly collaborative group of creative problem solvers with a passion for

innovation. As a SEO Specialist you will be responsible for planning, implementing and

managing our SEO strategy. As our online presence is extremely important for the

success of business, your position will play a huge role in driving our business' growth

and success.

This role is full-time, onsite based in Ahmedabad, India.

What you will do

• Own organic discoverability end to end across traditional search, AI answer engines (ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini, Google AI Overviews and AI Mode, Copilot), YouTube, review platforms and marketplaces (G2, Capterra, GetApp), app and integration directories (Canva, Shopify, WordPress, Zapier, the GPT Store, MCP registries) and communities (Reddit, Quora, LinkedIn). One strategy, one scorecard.

• Build and run the AI search (GEO) program. Understand how LLMs choose and cite sources for our category queries, then systematically increase SocialPilot's presence, accuracy and share of voice in those answers through our own pages, the third-party sources models trust, structured data, entity consistency and crawl access for AI bots.

• Defend and expand the commercial pages that still rank, convert and get cited: comparison, alternative, pricing, integration, use-case and feature pages. You own their briefs, on-page, internal linking and conversion.

• Decide what we stop doing. Audit the existing blog and informational library, then prune, consolidate, redirect or repurpose what no longer earns traffic or citations.

• Work with product and analytics to turn our platform data into original research and live data products (benchmarks, indices, free tools) that earn links, mentions and AI citations.

• Run a digital PR and listings program aimed at the sources LLMs and buyers trust: listicles, review platforms, industry publications, newsletters, podcasts, communities. The goal is brand mentions and citations in the right places, not link volume.

• Keep the technical foundation sound, covering crawling and indexing, site architecture, Core Web Vitals, schema, redirects, page templates and AI crawler access. You spec fixes for engineering and prioritize them by impact.

• Run SEO/CRO experiments on organic landing pages with the growth team. Organic trials and pipeline are the metric, not sessions.

• Build the reporting stack across Search Console, GA4, Looker Studio, rank tracking and AI visibility tracking (share of voice, citations, LLM referral traffic), tied to trials, pipeline and revenue. Monthly readouts that end in decisions.

• Track changes in Google, LLM search behaviour and SERP features and turn them into experiments within weeks, not quarters. Build the processes and documentation that make this repeatable.

What are you like

• 4–7 years in SEO or organic growth, a good part of it in B2B SaaS. You've owned a revenue-led organic strategy end to end and can show what it did to pipeline, not just traffic.

• Hands-on AI search work in the last 12–18 months. You've tracked how ChatGPT, Perplexity, Gemini and AI Overviews answer category queries, run experiments to change those answers, and have a clear point of view on what moves the needle and what is hype.

• Strong technical SEO. You can audit a site, read a crawl, spec fixes for engineers, and reason about how both search engines and LLM retrieval consume a page.

• Commercial-intent content judgment. You know how to brief and optimize comparison, alternative and pricing pages that convert, you've worked closely with a content team, and ideally you've pruned a bloated blog before.

• Off-page and digital PR experience aimed at mentions and citations in trusted sources, not backlink counts.

• Fluent with GA4, Search Console, Looker Studio, Ahrefs or Semrush, and at least one AI visibility tool (Profound, Peec, Ahrefs Brand Radar, Semrush AI Toolkit or similar). Comfortable in Sheets or SQL, and you already use LLMs to build your own analysis and workflows.

• Solid marketing fundamentals and CRO. You understand funnels and user journeys and can design, run and read an experiment.

• Strong project management. You prioritize ruthlessly, run cross-functional work with product, engineering and content, and can manage agencies or freelancers.

• Clear communicator who turns data into decisions for leadership.
