Who You Are:

Our team is seeking an experienced and efficient Minecraft Builder and/or Datapack Expert who can work with our incredible team of Minecraft Set Designers to bring YouTube videos to life for EYstreem and Milo and Chip in an interactive and exciting way; whilst making the Sets (Minecraft Builds) practical for filming environments and young audiences.

This is a full-time position. You can work remote, or in our office in Australia. Working hours are 9am - 5pm AES(D)T Monday - Friday each week.

Your Responsibilities and Skills:

• Interpreting Scripts: Translate script concepts into physical Minecraft builds and sets that are practical for scripted events such as dialogue, action, pranks, traps, and mods - utilizing datapacks for interactive elements.

• Vanilla Minecraft Survival Builds: Create visually appealing and functional Minecraft Survival builds that maintain realism (as if they were built in Survival Mode); ensuring they are not perceived as the work of professional builders.

• Versatile Building Styles: Adapt building styles from "noob" to "pro," "professional," "hacker," and more, depending on the storyline and scripted characters, to create diverse and immersive environments.

• Efficient Building Techniques: Utilize common building techniques and tools such as WorldEdit/Axiom to construct builds efficiently and effectively, optimizing the building process.

• Engaging Game Design: Design unique gameplay moments, game worlds and level elements as directed by the script to captivate the audience and enhance the overall storytelling experience.

• Interactive Datapack/Command Functionality : Utilize command blocks, datapacks, redstone and mods to add interactive and functional elements to builds, enabling the events of the script to unfold dynamically within the Minecraft world.

• Deadline Management and Time Organization: Effectively manage time to meet project deadlines, ensuring timely completion of builds and adherence to production schedules. Maintain organization in workflow and task prioritization to optimize productivity.

• Meeting Participation: Participate actively in meetings with the creative team to understand project vision, requirements, and updates, contributing insights and ideas to drive project success.

• Communication and Collaboration: Maintain open and effective communication channels with team members, sharing progress updates, addressing challenges, and collaborating on project tasks to achieve collective goals.
