Are you an experienced HR professional in the London hotel market who loves being hands-on and playing a key role in creating an engaging and people-focused hotel environment? Then this could be the opportunity for you!

The July is looking for an HR Manager to lead the day-to-day HR operations for our apartment-hotel and restaurant in London Victoria. Our premium hotel has 114 rooms and two residential apartments, alongside a vibrant restaurant, bar and deli serving both guests and the local community.

The July is where great stories begin...

The July is a premium hospitality brand redefining the way people travel with a personal, human touch. We create beautifully designed spaces in destinations around the globe and are growing, with new apartment-hotels planned in European cities including Dublin and Lisbon and more to come. Each property is thoughtfully crafted, reflecting the unique local stories and spirit of its surroundings. Our goal? To provide guests with a place where they can unwind, explore their surroundings, and connect with people and places, all while staying their way.

At The July, people come first. We take ownership, care about each other and our guests, and take pride in what we do. We believe in being yourself, supporting one another and celebrating our successes together. It’s one of the reasons we’ve been recognised as a Great Place to Work.

The job

As our HR Manager, you’ll take ownership of HR for our London hotel, working closely with the General Manager and management team to create an inspiring, inclusive and people-focused workplace.

You’ll be hands-on across the full employee journey, from recruitment and onboarding to employee relations, performance and development. You’ll also manage day-to-day HR activities including absence management, wellbeing and engagement, training, payroll support, benefits and employee records, while ensuring compliance with UK employment legislation.

As a trusted partner to our managers, you’ll provide practical advice, coaching and support while helping build a strong engaged team.

Reporting to our HR Director in Amsterdam, you’ll have the freedom to bring your ideas and take ownership and make a real impact as The July continues to grow across London and beyond.
