Position Overview

As a Senior Sales Manager, you will drive revenue and business growth by developing strategic relationships and securing sponsorship, exhibition, and partnership opportunities with companies operating in the artificial intelligence sector. You will connect AI startups, product companies, and established AI businesses with global audiences through AIBC’s international events, which take place alongside SiGMA Summits.

AI is a key focus of this role within a broader, multi-industry business ecosystem. Understanding how AI products and solutions can be applied across different industries and business verticals will be a valuable advantage.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to drive sponsorship, exhibition, and partnership revenue from AI companies across international markets.
• Identify, engage, and close opportunities with AI startups, AI product companies, and established businesses developing or commercialising AI-powered solutions.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with founders, CEOs, commercial leaders, and other senior decision-makers within the AI industry.
• Identify new business opportunities and develop long-term partnerships that contribute to the growth of AIBC’s AI offering.
• Lead commercial negotiations and tailor sponsorship and exhibition packages to meet clients’ business objectives.
• Represent AIBC and SiGMA Group at international conferences, trade shows, networking events, and industry meetings focused on artificial intelligence.
• Stay informed about AI market developments, emerging AI applications, and industry trends to identify new commercial opportunities.
• Develop an understanding of how AI products and solutions can address business needs across different industries and verticals, identifying opportunities for cross-industry partnerships and collaboration.
• Work closely with marketing, operations, and other internal teams to ensure a strong client experience and successful event delivery.
• Maintain an accurate sales pipeline and provide regular forecasts, reports, and updates to management.
• Support additional commercial projects and initiatives as required.
  
  

Key Skills & Requirements

• Proven experience in sales, business development, sponsorship, or account management, ideally working with AI companies, AI startups, or businesses developing AI-powered products and solutions.
• Strong commercial mindset with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Confidence in engaging with founders, CEOs, C-level executives, and other senior decision-makers.
• Strong ability to identify new business opportunities and convert them into long-term commercial relationships.
• A general understanding of how AI products and solutions can be applied across different industries and business verticals would be an advantage.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, international, and target-driven environment.
• Willingness to travel internationally and represent AIBC and SiGMA Group at AI-focused industry events.
• Experience working with CRM and sales tracking systems.
• Genuine interest in artificial intelligence, AI products, startups, and the evolving AI ecosystem.
• Highly self-motivated, proactive, and results-oriented.
• A collaborative team player who thrives in a dynamic global organisation.
• Native-like fluency in English.
