• Plans, organizes, controls and directs the operational activities of the medical practice. Provides supervision for all staff ensuring all company policies are being followed. Communicates effectively with patients, physicians, staff members and all other internal and external contacts. Requires proficient knowledge of Managed Care, Medicare and Medicaid guidelines, billing and coding expertise. Must promote and maintain the goals and objectives of the organization while representing the practice with a positive, professional attitude and appearance at all times. Must ensure the practice is in compliance with the NYS Article 28 guidelines and requirements.
• 1. Must possess a thorough understanding of running a medical office practice and possess business skills required to run an operationally efficient practice.

• 16. Coordinates and maintains current knowledge of reimbursement requirements/regulations and assists in the initiation of changes to the charge system to maximize revenue in coordination with the Billing and Collections Company and/or on-site Billing personnel.
• 17. Maintains and implements current knowledge of all managed care requirements in coordination with the Director of Managed Care.
• 18. Monitors and implements all system needs and requirements in coordination with IT.
• 19. Ensures the facility is clean and presentable at all times.
• 20. Anticipates Director’s needs by gathering records, reports, correspondence or other specific information as needed.
• 21. Composes correspondence and sends to appropriate individuals under the direction of the Director.

• Bachelor Degree Preferred
• 4-6 years Work experience in Practice Management or hospital setting management Required
• Practice Management (Medium proficiency)
