The job holder will be the IT Solutions Architect for Vodafone’s Computing, Data Storage, and Cloud services & solutions to Enterprise customers, working in close cooperation with IT Sales Account Managers in order to achieve the sales targets. The role is centred in designing IT solutions architectures that will meet customers’ business needs.
Key accountabilities and decision ownership• Achieve sales targets for Computing, Data, and Cloud Services & Solutions, through cooperation and support with Vodafone’s IT Sales Account Managers.
• Perform customer visits, enquire with customer IT decision makers & analyse customer technical requirements to propose the most suitable IT solution meeting customer needs and budget.
• Prepare and present the technical solutions to customers.
• Assist the technical and commercial discussion and follow up any open points with customers.
• Liaise thoroughly with internal and external business Partners, combining technical solutions to design and fulfil the best possible ROI for the customer’s IT estate.
• Inspired for effective communication in technical and commercial terms and to explain the benefits of XaaS (as a Service) economics and business models.
• Ability to understand the customer’s IT operation model and propose in technical terms, the migration to Dedicated computing, colocations, Private Cloud, Public Cloud services (Azure & IBM cloud) & solutions.
• Proven 4 years’ experience in IT systems architecture and technical sales for Enterprise customers.
• Proven experience in formulating technical and commercial offers to public and private sector RFP opportunities.
• Results oriented and attention to detail.
• Passion for continuous learning of new technologies and stay current with latest Cloud Services & Solutions.
• Support indirect Partners in formulating cloud migration strategies.
• Provide guidance and advice to integration and implementation teams.
• Lead and assist in resolving technical problems as they arise.
• Become the long term contact of choice for the customer’s Digital Transformation journey and IT solutions lifecycle.
• Inspire and ignite attention to Vodafone’s offer of Cloud services & solutions.
• Self-drive and commitment to create awareness, consideration and adoption of innovative services and solutions.
• Ability to explain complex problems in layman’s terms.
• University degree or Diploma in IT or related field
• Native Greek language
• Excellent speaking and writing English skills
