We’re looking for a Head of Sales for our French territory who doesn’t hide behind dashboards, decks, or job titles. This is a hands-on, player-coach leadership role for someone who thrives on being on the floor, in the detail, and in the action.

We launched our instant-pricing product in France in January 2026, and it is already showing strong early signs of success. We’re now looking for someone to drive the next phase of growth, leading our teams in Cape Town and Dakar who sell to customers across France.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be responsible for building and leading a high-performing, commercially disciplined sales organisation that delivers sustainable revenue growth, strong conversion, and exceptional customer outcomes.

You’ll develop agents, team leaders, and managers into a cohesive, scalable team — showing up, coaching hard, and setting the standard every day.

Own sales performance, end to end

• Take full accountability for revenue growth, conversion, forecasting accuracy, and delivery against targets. You’ll translate business objectives into clear, focused sales strategies and make sure they land on the floor.

Build and lead a high-performing team

• Lead agents, team leaders, and managers with clarity and intent. You’ll define roles, expectations, and ownership at every level while building scalable structures and processes that support growth.

Coach hard. Develop leaders. Raise the bar.

• Spend real time coaching through live calls, floor-side feedback, and structured sessions. Develop the leadership capability of your management team and drive excellence across discovery, qualification, value-based selling, objection handling, and closing.

Run the numbers, properly

• Set clear KPIs, lead forecasting and pipeline reviews, and use data to identify trends, diagnose issues, and make commercial decisions quickly. You’ll manage performance closely and address underperformance early.

Stay close to the action

• Be visible, involved, and hands-on — jumping into deals, unblocking problems, and supporting the team in real time. This role lives on the sales floor.

Partner across the business

• Work closely with Marketing, Customer Service, and Transport to improve customer outcomes, refine tools and scripts, and contribute to broader commercial planning.

• A strategy-only role where you manage from a distance and simply report the numbers.

• A “let’s talk about it” environment where decisions take weeks.

• A role where you inherit a perfect machine and simply maintain it.

• A place for someone who avoids tough conversations, hard targets, or clear accountability.

You’ll be joining an environment that operates at pace. Priorities change quickly, multiple initiatives run in parallel, and new campaigns and structures launch regularly. Comfort with ambiguity and constant change is essential.

This role is for you if…

• You’re obsessed with the relationship between activity, conversion, and revenue — and you know how to move each lever.

• You’re comfortable getting into the detail of calls, deals, objections, and coaching while still being able to step back and build the bigger system.

• You bring energy, discipline, and pace — you don’t need chasing.

• You care about standards and outcomes and can lead a team with both warmth and edge.

• You set the plan, run the cadence, and solve problems without waiting for permission or explaining them away.

What you’ll bring

• Fluency in French and English.

• Proven, in-depth leadership experience within a fast-paced B2C sales environment.

• Strong commercial acumen with the ability to execute hands-on.

• Demonstrated success coaching both sales teams and sales leaders.

• A data-driven approach to performance and decision-making.

• Excellent influencing and stakeholder-management skills.

• A resilient, accountable, and action-oriented leadership style.

• A strong understanding of value-based or solution selling, such as SPIN.

• Experience working with customers in France.

• You must currently be based in Cape Town or Dakar and able to work on-site in one of our offices.
