Senior Integration Specialist

Studio Graphene is an AI-native digital product studio that designs and builds digital products for ambitious companies around the world. For this role, Studio Graphene is hiring as the Employer of Record (EOR) for one of the clients. You will be employed by Studio Graphene in India and work as part of our client’s team on their products, with your day-to-day role and responsibilities set out below.

Our client is a leading provider of SaaS solutions that empower companies to take payments securely, adhere to strict industry governance, and remove their business from the significant risks posed by non-compliance and data loss. They are integrated and resold by some of the world’s leading business communications vendors, as well as major payment service providers.

Location: 5 days working from Gurgaon Office

Working hours: 11 am to 8 pm

THE OPPORTUNITY:

The Senior Integration Specialist is a senior individual contributor responsible for the solution design, configuration and delivery of the web and payment solutions, including partner and platform integrations, based on customer needs and requirements.

The role owns complex solution design, leads high-quality implementations, and acts as a subject matter expert (SME) across the platform, desktop, payments, and API integrations. In addition to delivery, the Senior Integration Specialist supports engineering and platform development by providing implementation feedback, improving deployment patterns, and driving the standardisation of Professional Services processes and implementations to increase efficiency, quality, and scalability across customer deployments.

To start with, the role is primarily internal and partner-facing. You will work cross-functionally with the Product, Engineering, and Professional Services teams, and customers directly.

WHAT THIS ROLE IS:

• GUI-based configuration: Around 90% of the role is configuration using the pre-built logic blocks, flows and design tools.

• What you will configure: API sessions, session launch parameters and RESTful API integrations, all through the platform’s interface.

• Technical background for communication, not execution: You need to understand APIs, authentication (OAuth, basic), CRM integrations and payment gateway flows so that you can answer questions, translate requirements for developers and guide them when needed (about 10% of your time).

 YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR:

• Act as a design authority throughout the lifecycle of customer projects involving web and payment integration, taking ownership of the design and configuration of the web and payment solution from project inception to successful implementation.

• Configure API sessions, session launch parameters and RESTful API integrations using the GUI-based tools, pre-built logic blocks and flows (no coding required).

• Act as a subject matter expert (SME) for internal stakeholders and partners, providing clear and timely guidance on the desktop and payment gateway integrations, and answering technical questions from customers as needed.

• Support Pre-Sales activities by reviewing requirements, scoping solutions, and supporting the configuration and integration of new payment gateways.

• Collaborate closely with the Product team to optimise UI and solution designs, ensuring alignment with platform strategy and initiatives such as standardisation.

• Create, maintain, and contribute to technical documentation, including the API specifications, PSP interfaces, and requirements for developers.

• Work closely with the engineering team to set up and facilitate environments for PSP and CRM integration projects, translating requirements for developers and guiding them where needed.

• Offer expert guidance to junior team members, assisting them in addressing complex technical issues, including peer review of their solutions and configurations.

• Provide troubleshooting and fault resolution support to internal operations for customer incident cases.

• Independently manage BAU change requests, collaborating with customers to gather and understand change needs, and support professional services in developing Statements of Work (SOW) or similar change documents.

• Build and maintain expert knowledge of the products, services, and deployment methodology.

WE WANT TO HEAR FROM YOU IF YOU: 

• Have experience in technology services, with deep domain expertise across CRMs and payment gateway solutions.

• Have a strong understanding of APIs and authentication (OAuth, basic), and of data exchange with third-party applications and services. Hands-on experience with front-end and integration technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JSON, and XML, will be an added advantage.

• Have a working understanding of web and integration concepts, including JSON and XML, well enough to read, interpret and explain them (you will not be building with them).

• Hold a B.Tech/BE in Computer Science or Information Technology, or an equivalent technical background.

• Have experience working with cloud platforms, particularly AWS.

• Have hands-on experience with third-party testing tools such as Postman and SOAP UI.

• Be able to review and analyse application and platform logs to identify issues.

• Have strong interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and credibility with partners, customers and internal stakeholders.

• Be comfortable working flexibly across multiple time zones to meet project timelines and partner and customer expectations.

• Have experience working collaboratively with cross-functional teams, including product, engineering, support, and project management.
