Job Description
We are looking for a dynamic, driven, and experienced Sales Specialist who thrives on building trusted relationships with CFOs / Financials Managers and senior decision-makers, understanding a customer needs and ability to provide solutions by Selling Credit Guarantee’s products and adhere to FAIS compliance.Set up first meeting with prospect or make contact with a prospect once a lead has come in. Identify if there is need for Trade Credit insurance, listen to the prospect needs. Obtain all information to provide a quote. Once information has been obtained, do an analysis of the data, check against the financial statements. Attention to detail, communication and negotiation skills and customer centricity is of utmost importance. Once quote is issued, present the quote to the prospect or Introductory broker. Must be clear on providing advice. Once the quote is accepted, provide policy and online training. Complete record of advice and all admin.

- Ensure statutory and legislative knowledge is always current in order to resolve customer complaints, to advise the business on corrective solutions to mitigate risks and to improve the customer experience whilst complying with governance requirements.

- Maintain service, quality and desired outputs within a specific functional process through ensuring compliance to tactical policies, procedures and standards.

- Develop work routines in line with operational plans / schedules in order to manage achievement of service delivery goals.
- Share knowledge on, and participate in the creation of new standards, control systems and procedures to maintain service delivery.

- Development and Distribution Manager
- A post-Matric qualification equivalent to NQF Level 7 in Commerce majoring in Business Economics/ Accounting/ Finance/ Credit Management or another related field.
- FAIS Accredited – Must meet and understand regulatory fit and proper requirements.
- Must understand a business set of financial statements
- Minimum of 5 years' experience in B2B sales, with a track record of engaging senior stakeholders.
- Strong analytical, record keeping, minutes
- Time management and prioritizing high volumes of work
- English literacy and correspondence skills
- Valid code 8 driver's licence older than 12 months
- Good communication skills, written and verbal
- Experience in insurance, financial services, or a regulated industry is advantageous
Requirements:
Grade 12 with Insurance Level IV qualification.
Relevant tertiary qualification would be advantageous
5 – 8 years' experience in Underwriting and leading a team of Portfolio Managers.
3 – 5 years' experience in insurance sales.
