What You'll Do:
- Lead your team. You'll schedule staff, train new hires, and coach team members through busy periods. When things get hectic, you'll be the steady presence that keeps service flowing and morale up.
- Keep operations running smoothly. You'll manage inventory, handle cash reconciliation, and make sure health and safety standards are always met. When the grill breaks down or you're running low on a popular item, you'll figure out the solution.
- Provide hands-on service. This isn't a desk job—you'll be taking orders, preparing food, and serving guests alongside your team. You'll coordinate with events to make sure service matches the pace of play.
- Maintain high standards. You'll ensure turnstand facilities are clean and organized, train staff on policies and procedures, and communicate effectively with management about operational needs and guest concerns.
What We're Looking For:
- You have supervisory experience in food service. Whether it's restaurants, hotels, or other hospitality settings, you've led a team and understand what it takes to deliver consistent service under pressure.
- You're comfortable with the technical side. You can operate POS systems, handle cash management responsibilities, and aren't intimidated by learning new technology or procedures.
- You can multitask without losing your cool. Between managing staff, serving customers, and keeping operations running, you'll juggle multiple priorities while maintaining a positive attitude and professional appearance.
- You're willing to get certified. You'll need your Food Handler's certification within 30 days and Oregon Liquor Commission certification within 60 days of starting (we'll support you through the process).
Working Conditions:
- This role may involve working days, evenings, weekdays, and weekends. You will be exposed to various environmental conditions, including both indoor and outdoor settings. Please be aware that safety protocols and practices must be strictly followed to mitigate potential hazards, such as inclement weather, chemicals, solvents, pesticides, herbicides, fertilizers, and golf balls.
