Rochester Regional Health and United Memorial Medical Center (UMMC) in Batavia, NY are actively recruiting an additional Family Medicine Core Faculty member for a July 2026 start to support our growing Family Medicine Residency Program.

Located in a rural community setting, United Memorial’s ACGME-accredited Family Medicine Residency offers residents a diverse and well-rounded experience in primary care. Core faculty members have the opportunity to both practice and precept in the residency’s main Family Medicine clinic, with the option to incorporate inpatient teaching at our community-based hospital.

As part of Rochester Regional Health, faculty members benefit from access to a large, integrated health system with extensive resources for faculty development, academic advancement, and system-wide collaboration.

The program is also affiliated with the Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine (LECOM), and faculty play an active role in medical student education through both outpatient and inpatient rotations.

For experienced applicants interested in a leadership role, we can offer the faculty position as an Associate Program Director position.

We are seeking a passionate and collaborative physician educator who is excited to shape future family physicians in a supportive, mission-driven environment.
