We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Oracle Database Administrator (ISS8) to join the Middleware team with Data Center Services! Do you thrive in environments where cross-team collaboration, innovation, and troubleshooting are key to success? Bring your analytical and development skills, problem-solving approach, and technical knowledge to a fast-paced, team-oriented, state-of-the-art data center!

What You’ll Do

As an Oracle Database Administrator (ISS8), you will play a crucial role in maintaining the stability and performance of IT systems that provide critical services to customers throughout the state. You will diagnose complex problems for customer agencies within the AIX environment, onboard customers into the AIX (Oracle and DB2) environment, provide expert level support to customers, coordinate solutions between multiple agencies and other entities, identify and automate processes and procedures for on-premise and cloud solutions, architect the database (Oracle and DB2) environment to meet the needs of both DCS and its customers, and participate in disaster recovery planning and implementation processes for Oracle services.

While this is an Oracle-focused role, we are interested in candidates that have experience with, or the interest and capacity to learn DB2.
