WHAT YOU WILL DO: Franklin Sports is seeking a Digital Multimedia Specialist, Social to help grow the voice and presence of Franklin Pickleball across social media. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about pickleball and racket sports, understands social-first storytelling, and thrives in a fast-paced content environment.

As part of the Creative and Marketing teams, you will create content, build community, and drive engagement across Franklin Pickleball's social channels. You will work closely with professional athletes, influencers, creators, ambassadors, and international partners to develop authentic content that connects with players and helps grow the game around the world.

The ideal candidate understands the culture surrounding pickleball and knows how to turn trends, events, athlete moments, and product stories into engaging social content. Whether capturing content courtside, collaborating with creators, engaging with the community, or supporting global campaigns, this role will play a key part in strengthening Franklin's leadership position within the sport.

This role will require domestic as well as international travel to attend tournaments, industry events, photo shoots, athlete activations, and marketing events.

This position is located at our headquarters in Stoughton, MA with a hybrid office option and will report to the Director of Creative Services.

IN MORE DETAIL, YOU WILL:

• Build and execute social media strategies focused on Franklin Pickleball and the broader racket sports community.
• Create engaging social-first content that celebrates athletes, products, tournaments, grassroots players, and the culture surrounding the game.
• Capture, edit, and publish photo and video content from professional events, product launches, athlete appearances, community activations, and behind-the-scenes moments.
• Manage and grow Franklin Pickleball's social presence across Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, X, LinkedIn, and emerging platforms.
• Engage daily with players, fans, athletes, creators, ambassadors, clubs, facilities, and industry partners to strengthen community relationships.
• Collaborate with professional athletes, sponsored players, influencers, and content creators to develop authentic and engaging content.
• Identify and react quickly to trends, conversations, and opportunities within the pickleball and racket sports space.
• Partner with marketing, product, partnerships, and eCommerce teams to support product launches, athlete campaigns, retail initiatives, and key business objectives.
• Develop social content that supports major events, tournament activations, athlete appearances, and grassroots programs.
• Collaborate with Franklin's international teams, distributors, athletes, and marketing partners to support regional campaigns, product launches, events, and social media initiatives while identifying local content opportunities and ensuring consistent brand storytelling across global markets.
• Assist in the planning and execution of social-first campaigns designed to grow followers, increase engagement, and drive brand awareness.
• Monitor performance metrics and deliver regular reporting with actionable insights and recommendations.
• Communicate efficiently with internal departments on requested projects to ensure objectives are clearly understood and met.
• Stay informed on social media best practices, platform updates, emerging creator trends, and developments within the pickleball industry.
• Ability to travel via car, plane and train with overnight up to 20%. 
• Ability to obtain a passport and Visas for international travel assignment.

WHO YOU ARE:

• Bachelor degree in Marketing, Communications, Social Media, Sports Marketing, or related field required.
• 3+ years of social media, content creation, community management, or digital marketing experience.
• Strong understanding of the players, personalities, brands, tournaments, and trends shaping the pickleball industry.

WHAT YOU HAVE DONE/ESSENTIAL TO THE ROLE:

• Experience creating and executing successful social campaigns.
• Advanced proficiency across major social platforms including Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, and X.
• Strong storytelling, copywriting, and communication skills.
• Experience analyzing social performance and translating data into actionable recommendations.
• Passion for pickleball, racket sports, and sports culture.
• Consumer-focused, proactive self-starter with a passion for pickleball, racket sports, and sports culture.
• Experience creating engaging social content and managing multiple social platforms (e.g. meta suite, tiktok, youtube, etc.)
• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, including Premiere Pro, Photoshop, Lightroom, and After Effects, as well as CapCut and other social media tools.
• Ability to capture and edit high-quality photo and video content.
• Experience working with athletes, influencers, creators, and international partners preferred.
• Strong storytelling, communication, and organizational skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and maintain brand consistency.
• Familiarity with emerging social trends and AI-assisted creative tools.
• Team-first mindset
• Ability to work evenings, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Valid driver’s license in good standing.

For this role, the pay range is $65,000– 78,000 annually, which is what we reasonably expect to offer when filling the position. Your actual offer will depend on things like your experience, skills, and what you bring to the team.
