Job Description Summary

The Digital Center of Excellence Leader drives digital strategy, innovation, and execution to support business growth, operational excellence, and customer outcomes. The role leads the development and adoption of digital solutions, establishes best practices and governance, and builds digital capabilities across the organization. Working closely with business, technology, and commercial stakeholders, the leader aligns digital priorities with business objectives and ensures delivery against quality, budget, and timeline commitments. The role operates with significant autonomy within established policies and requires strong strategic, technical, and commercial judgment to prioritize investments, manage risks, and deliver measurable business value.

Job Description

Key Responsibilities

Formulates and executes proposal strategy and sales agreements. Formulates deal structure, pricing, proposal development. Assists in customer negotiations. Identifies new opportunities with functional partners to develop new products and services for business growth. Utilizes Lean Six Sigma methodologies to improve proposal process. This is a hybrid role only to be used when both sales origination and commercial proposal activities are ongoing duties of roughly equal importance. If not, use another distinct area of work.
Requires specialized knowledge across product lines, markets, sales processes, or customer groups. Requires strong commercial awareness, and is expected to influence the development of strategy for their broad sales territory, including control of resources.
Interprets simple internal and external business challenges and recommends best practices to improve products, processes or services. Stays informed of industry trends that may inform work.
Uses high level of judgment to make decisions and handle complex tasks or problems within projects, product lines, markets, sales processes, campaigns or customers. Has ability to assess quality of information given and ask pertinent questions to stakeholders or customers. Able to offer new solutions to problems outside of set parameters and is able to construct and provide recommendations. Uses multiple internal and some external sources outside of own function to help arrive at a decision.
May lead functional teams or projects with minimal resource requirements, risk, and/or complexity. Communicates difficult concepts and may influence others' options on particular topics. May guide others to consider a different point of view.

Required Qualifications

Knowledge level is comparable to a Master's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
Minimum 10 years of proven track record and experience in the Sales and Commercial activities.
Proven experience in Energy industry, power transmission, power generation product experience in managerial role
Demonstrate a deep understanding of the energy market within Middle East Africa countries , working with government agencies and customers to position GE Vernova products
Fluency in English & French
