Senior IT Oversight Analyst

Enterprise Information Services

Salem, OR - Hybrid

Enterprise Information Services (EIS) is Oregon's statewide information technology (IT) organization, led by the State Chief Information Officer (CIO). The Project Portfolio Performance team plays a critical role in supporting state agencies by providing oversight, governance, and portfolio management for the state's major IT investments, helping agencies deliver strategic, mission-critical technology initiatives that serve Oregonians.

What You’ll Do

As the Senior IT Oversight Analyst, you will partner closely with the Senior IT Portfolio Manager to provide oversight of major information technology projects managed by state agencies.  In this role, you will guide project assessment, monitoring, reporting, and portfolio management activities throughout the project lifecycle. You will be responsible for evaluating the performance and health of major IT investments through the Oregon Stage Gate process, from project initiation through implementation. By reviewing project activities, deliverables, and governance artifacts, you will help ensure projects are positioned for success and aligned with project management best practices. Working collaboratively with Senior IT Portfolio Managers and the EIS Statewide Quality Assurance (QA) Program, you will proactively identify and address risks associated with large-scale IT projects. Your efforts will help agencies improve project outcomes, strengthen accountability, and increase the likelihood of successful delivery of mission-critical technology investments.

Join a role where your expertise directly contributes to the success of state agencies across Oregon. By blending your project management experience, analytical strengths, and customer-focused approach, you'll play a key role in helping agencies navigate and successfully complete mission-critical projects that advance their essential public service missions.
