PCA/ Nurse Assistant - Green Hospital - Surgical Acute - Nights

This is a full-time, benefit-eligible position working 12-hour night shifts and located at Scripps Green Hospital, Surgical Acute unit.

The ideal candidate will be someone who brings a positive energy and is committed to delivering exceptional patient care. Primary responsibilities will be performing EKGs, taking vitals, patient transport, and assisting patients with activities of daily living.

The general duties of the Patient Care Assistant include:

• Provides excellent service to patients as a key member of the clinical care team
• Assists patients with personal needs and activities of daily living, collects data, and ensures the patient has a safe, organized environment
• Assists with patient care within the scope permitted and under the direction of a clinician
• Supports the unit with a variety of patient logistic, clerical, equipment/supply, and charge reconciliation duties
