Diesel Mechanic — Technician Levels 3 & 4

💰 Pay: $29.55–$36.00 per Hour + Overtime After 40 Hours per Week
📅 Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
📍 Location: Baton Rouge, LA

Hourly rate depends on skills and experience. Availability for an on-call rotation is required.

TCI Maintenance is hiring experienced Diesel Mechanics with 4–6+ years of diesel engine repair experience to join our Baton Rouge team. Bring your technical knowledge, attention to detail, and commitment to quality to a hands-on role maintaining and repairing truck and trailer equipment.

With a weekday day-shift schedule, weekly pay, provided uniforms, and a yearly boot allowance, this opportunity combines meaningful work with practical benefits.

🛠️ What You’ll Be Doing

🔎 Diagnose & Repair Truck and Trailer Equipment
Assist with diagnosing and repairing major components under the direction of a Lead Technician or Maintenance Supervisor.

⚙️ Handle Component Replacement
Remove and replace major components while bringing careful workmanship and attention to detail to each repair.

🔧 Put Your Technical Expertise to Work
Diagnose and repair the following with little or no supervision: clutches, power take-off (PTO) systems, electrical systems, hydraulic and air brake systems, heating and air conditioning, instruments, and gauges.

🚛 Perform Preventive Maintenance
Complete preventive maintenance services that help keep equipment dependable and ready for operation.

✅ What You Bring

• 4–6+ years of diesel engine repair experience.

• A valid driver’s license and the ability to meet company insurability requirements.

• The technical ability to diagnose and repair the systems listed above with little or no supervision.

• Self-motivation, leadership skills, and strong attention to detail.

• Availability to participate in an on-call rotation.

• A commitment to safety, quality work, and supporting your teammates.
