Recruiting Operations Manager

As Profound’s first Recruiting Operations Manager hire, you’ll build the systems, processes, and team structure that enable us to scale hiring effectively. You’ll lead our Recruiting Coordinator team, own our recruiting systems and dashboards, and partner with recruiters and hiring managers to create a consistent, high-quality hiring experience. This is an opportunity to build the operational foundation of our recruiting function as Profound grows.

What You’ll Do

Lead & Develop Recruiting Coordination

• Manage, develop, and grow our Recruiting Coordinator team, overseeing performance, workload, and professional development.

• Establish team structure, capacity planning, and operating rhythms to support hiring goals.

• Build onboarding, learning and development, and shadow programs to support coordinator training and growth.

Own Recruiting Systems & Dashboards

• Own and optimize Ashby, including ATS configuration, interview workflows, scorecards, integrations, and data integrity.

• Build and maintain recruiting dashboards tracking pipeline health, time to hire, conversion rates, and team capacity.

• Improve recruiting systems and processes to increase visibility, consistency, and operational efficiency.

Build Interview Plans & Hiring Processes

• Design and maintain structured interview plans, interview loops, and scorecards in partnership with recruiters and hiring managers.

• Develop recruiting playbooks, templates, and documentation that standardize hiring practices across teams.

• Identify bottlenecks and improve processes from role kickoff through offer close.

Enable Hiring Managers & Interviewers

• Develop hiring manager resources, interviewer training, and structured interviewing guidelines.

• Establish clear expectations and service-level agreements to keep hiring processes on track.

• Partner with Finance and People Operations on headcount planning, requisition tracking, and hiring progress.

Who You Are

• 6+ years of experience in recruiting operations, talent operations, recruiting coordination, or a related function, including 2+ years of people management.

• Hands-on experience managing and optimizing ATS platforms, Ashby.

• Experience leading Recruiting Coordinators and developing onboarding, training, or shadow programs.

• Strong understanding of interview planning, structured hiring, and hiring manager enablement.

• Data-driven, with experience building dashboards and translating recruiting metrics into actionable insights.

• A strong cross-functional partner with a builder mindset, high ownership, and a passion for creating scalable processes.

Location

This is an on-site role based in our NYC office, designed for builders who thrive on speed, iteration, and meaningful impact.

For this role, the expected base salary range is $175K - $215K. Profound's total compensation package is designed to be competitive and includes base salary, equity, and a full range of benefits and perks. Final compensation will depend on factors such as your skills, experience, qualifications, and location, and will be determined during the interview process.
